HOW TO SAFELY CLEAN YOUR PILATES EQUIPMENT
Vinyl
Cleaning
You can extend the life of upholstery by cleaning it regularly and keeping oil, dirt, dust and perspiration off. After each use, wipe down the upholstery with a solution of chemically neutral (hand) soap and water. Custom Vinyl colours wont fade over time. After each day of use wipe vinyl down with clear water and a dry hand towel. Do not use Ammonia or Tea tree oil or strong mixed chemicals to clean the vinyl such as Siqura and Viraclean.
Disinfecting
Equipment upholstery is coated with Sanitized Antimicrobial Properties to inhibit growth of bacteria mould and mildew, which offers antibacterial protection. We recommend not using of any other solution (especially those containing methylated spirits or essential oils) which can shorten the life of some equipment. Cleaning every day is suggested or after each use is optimal. Do not use Methylated Spirits. Suggested methods used below,
- 1:100 bleach: water
- 1:10 eucalyptus oil: water
- 70%+ ethanol sanitizer
